My weight and “relationship” with food has been a rollercoaster throughout my life. Five years ago, I began incorporating exercise and changing my eating habits. I lost nearly 100 pounds. However, old habits started to resurface. I gained back forty pounds, which needless to say, was not great for my self-esteem. I felt tired, sluggish, and disappointed in myself for gaining back the weight. This created a series of “yo-yo dieting”, with no sustainable results. In the summer of 2016, I joined Ultimate Fitness, hoping for a fresh start. I simply cannot say enough about Ultimate Wellness and my work with Lori. Through the program and additional Ultimate Fitness group training classes, I have lost fifty pounds. I learned more about food, nutrition, and how certain choices impact your body. I have been able to find what works for my lifestyle while keeping my goals inline. Ultimate Wellness incorporates so many factors beyond just a number on the scale. I have learned so much about health, myself, and all aspects of what nutrition is and its effect on the body. There is no “one size fits all” to this program—it is not “cookie cutter”. It is individualized and Lori works with your goals. Anytime I had a question (no matter how silly I thought it was), Lori would answer and was incredibly supportive. When you stick with it, the positive effects trickle into all aspects of your life. When you take this on, you are giving yourself a gift. I feel healthier, stronger, more confident, and happier after finishing this program. Ultimate Fitness’ slogan, “Be your personal best”, cannot not be truer.
