Don’t complain about the results you’re NOT getting from the work you’re NOT doing!

A client of mine said this the other day, and as you can well imagine I LOVE IT!! It is a reminder to all of us that it is not enough just to “show up”! What you bring to the table (no pun intended) makes a difference. It is not just showing up to the gym but what you do when you show up. Although your 100% may vary day-to-day depending on how much sleep you’ve had, how many workouts you have already done, etc. You still need to bring whatever your 100% is on that day!! And what are you bringing to the kitchen table? We are at that time of year when we are surrounded by food that is not in our norm. Guess what? You don’t have to eat it! Choose carefully when you do indulge and ask yourself, “Is it worth it?”. The results we get are directly related to the work we put in! Ask yourself, “How hard am I working?” At the gym…in the kitchen…Then ask yourself, “Am I getting the results I am looking for?”
